Position: Test Lead

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Test Lead to join a dynamic Technology Services Division. As a test lead, you will oversee and manage testing activities across multiple projects, working closely with the test manager to ensure the test strategy and standards are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead test delivery with internal staff and vendors, ensuring projects remain on track in terms of scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in testing tools, guiding management and stakeholders in their effective use.
- Analyze and report on test activities and results, escalating issues and risks to project management as required.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and supporting test data and requirements based on specifications.
- Assign and execute test cases at various stages of testing.
- Contribute to team improvement initiatives, including the enhancement of tools, process changes, and test automation.
- Manage and document defects, programming errors, and operational characteristics inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
- Oversee testing for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Accurately record time and effort for test cases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective implementation of projects.
- Coordinate defect triages and meetings.
- Provide support to business teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Essential Criteria: - Proven experience leading testing activities for complex programs and preparing test summary reports.
- Experience with Agile testing, holding team members accountable for commitments and delivery each sprint.
- Extensive experience with test management tools such as Jira Xray and CRM, especially Salesforce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple factors on a project simultaneously.
- Exceptional teamwork skills, working effectively across businesses, vendors, and geographically dispersed virtual teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and facilitate innovation within teams.
Desirable Criteria: - Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Experience working for large organizations on complex software deployments.
- Relevant technical experience in fields such as application development, database development, deployment and implementation, and infrastructure.
- Enthusiasm for accessible design and development, and openness to new ways of thinking about accessibility will be highly regarded.
