Role Overview
The Test Analyst will join the Data and Insurance Branch at this agency, contributing to the testing of participant and provider digital tools, supporting continuous improvement projects, and working with data-intensive projects.
You will play a key role in operational and administrative support, applying established policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities - Respond to data requests and work within agreed timelines.
- Support continuous improvement projects, including mapping processes and identifying efficiencies.
- Participate in the testing of digital tools and provide support in preparing and delivering testing through UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and BVT (Build Verification Testing).
- Assist with test strategy and plan development, preparing accessible test scripts, and ensure testing coverage.
- Support participants and registered providers in UAT and BVT.
- Prepare and deliver consistent, accurate reports on trends, performance, and workload management.
- Assist in the documentation and refinement of operational procedures and processes.
Criteria Essential: - Minimum of 2 years' experience in testing, with at least one year of experience in testing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SQL Server, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in data-intensive projects and a strong understanding of the software development and project life cycles.
- Experience testing data platforms integrating with analytics tools and relational databases.
- Medium to advanced SQL skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, business users, and software development teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Criteria: - Exposure to JIRA as a task and defect management tool.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Experience writing test plans and test cases.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and self-motivation.
