Senior Data Analyst ( Tableau / Databricks / SQL )
12-month day rate contract
$750-820 per day inc super DOE

Senior Data Analyst ( Tableau / Databricks / SQL ) is required to join one of Australia’s most loved and reputable Tech companies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly desirable software product company that operates globally, facing challenges and collaborating closely with various business units.

The Senior Data Analyst ( Tableau / Databricks / SQL ) will lead and deliver data insights projects on time and exceed expectations. They will engage with stakeholders to understand strategic challenges, actively question them to avoid assumptions, and proactively recommend intelligent insights to address unanswered questions throughout the engagement by efficiently utilizing data tools.

They will analyze data from the company’s big data lake in Databricks, building pipelines and tables for analysis. Additionally, they will develop, design, and support interactive BI reports using Tableau, creating strong and effective data visualizations for improved communication and understanding. The individual will deliver and perform effectively in a highly agile environment.
With a minimum of 5-8 years of experience, the candidate is expected to work independently with ExecOps from day one.
  
Technical Skills required for the Senior Data Analyst ( Tableau / Databricks / SQL )  include:
  • Extensive experience in Tableau design, with a focus on data visualization and tools like Ask Data
  • Extensive SQL experience, including over 5 years in Big Data using Databricks
  • An adaptable mindset to learn new visualization tools as needed, such as Databricks SQL
  • Understanding of SaaS development, business models, and key SaaS metrics (e.g., MRR, MAU)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Essentials:
  • Tableau design experience
  • Databricks and SQL expertise
  
Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Data Analyst ( Tableau / Databricks / SQL ) include :
  1. Experience in the SaaS domain
  2. Experience working with global teams and in high-growth companies
  3. A strong presence in the Tableau community
