Senior Analytics Engineer ( SQL / Azure Data Factory / Databricks ) is required to join a growing Insurtech with a global presence.
This ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Data Engineering and will play a key role in developing and implementing greenfield data solutions that empower their clients to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain data warehouses and ETL processes.
  • Develop and implement robust data architecture to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Create and manage data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, data lakes, and transformation tools.
  • Generate insightful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Offer technical expertise and guidance to both team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging data technologies and provide recommendations to enhance existing systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in building and developing data warehouses and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles and practices.
  • Experience in data engineering and data science.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns in complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, or AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in the Insurance space would be a huge plus
