Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Melbourne

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce developer to join a dynamic UX/UI team within a major ICT strategic project. As an EL1 Salesforce Developer, you will play a pivotal role in integrating Salesforce with other applications and tools, while ensuring that development is aligned with the strategic goals and user experience (UX) needs.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Integrate Salesforce with various applications and collaboration tools.
  • Develop and maintain solutions using Lightning UI, communities, knowledge, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the team to produce work in Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Work with source control tools such as Bitbucket and GitHub in a Salesforce context.
  • Contribute to the use of Agile development tools, including Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket, Illuminated Cloud, and Jenkins.
  • Support the design, development, and deployment of solutions in a collaborative, agile environment.
 
Key Selection Criteria:
 
Essential:
 
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in Salesforce development, including configuration and Customisation, particularly in:
  • Community Cloud/Experience Cloud
  • LWC (Lightning Web Component) framework development
  • Apex Development
  • CICD and Solution Design
  • Salesforce certifications: Administrator, App Builder, and Platform Developer 1.
  • Proven technical expertise in modern JavaScript, Lightning web components, and the Aura framework for developing Lightning components.
  • Experience working with digital assets, including interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mock-ups.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform features such as record ownership, sharing rules, and CRUD/FLS.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative working environment within project teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience building rapport and presenting complex technical information to senior stakeholders in a clear, concise, and articulate manner.
  • Experience working on complex Salesforce projects and collaborating with UX and design teams.
 
Desirable:
 
  • Passion for accessibility and enthusiasm for accessible design and development.
  • Advanced Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer 2 and Advanced Administrator.
  • Experience with Vlocity Integration procedures, APIs, and Auth Providers.
  • Experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Health Cloud.
