Job Title: Lead Insights Analyst ( SQL / Tableau / BigQuery )
Location: Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Perth
$170-180k package (inc super and bonus)

Talent Insights is currently partnered with a leading eCommerce company dedicated to providing exceptional customer experiences through data-driven insights. They are looking for a Lead Insights Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis, playing a crucial role in shaping strategic initiatives across the organization.

Role Overview: The Lead Insights Analyst position has derived from what was once an embedded Campaign Analyst and reporting role but is now more focused on strategic work. This role will still support various marketing and below-the-line campaigns while emphasizing problem-solving, presentation skills, and storytelling capabilities. As the epicentre of strategic analytics within the business, this position will require extensive stakeholder management at the senior level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic analytics initiatives that drive decision-making and enhance business performance.
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and present actionable insights through compelling storytelling and effective visualizations.
• Support marketing and below-the-line campaigns with data-driven analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of strategic initiatives.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights to inform business strategy.
• Maintain a balance between strategic work and business-as-usual (BAU) reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior/Lead Insights Analyst or in a similar strategic analytics role, preferably within the eCommerce, retail, or loyalty sectors.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong experience in data visualization using Tableau or comparable tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex data.
• Exceptional presentation skills, with a talent for storytelling to convey insights effectively.
• Experience in managing senior-level stakeholder relationships and delivering impactful presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
